We’re getting married here!

Besides just being accessible to Lisbon and other great towns to visit if you’re going to extend your stay in Portugal, the Cascais area is worth a visit or vacation on its own. We spend a typical day here enjoying the beach and our hotel’s pool before ambling through town and along the coastline. Hotel Farol // This isn’t just our favorite hotel and where we’re staying for our wedding weekend— it’s also one of our favorite places to have dinner! Their sushi program is out of this world. If you like sushi even a little bit…don’t miss it! (Pictured!)

Furnas do Guincho // This is about a 7 minute Uber ride from Cascais and worth it, times ten— one of our favorite restaurants ever! You need a reservation and you’ll want to be seated on the earlier side, so you catch sunset. Be sure to book a table for outside, so you get to sit out on the cliff and take in the sun setting over the ocean.
